IRIS AT is one of the advanced family of telematics units designed by IRIS Technology, incorporating the unique IRIS communications protocol and IRIS Spatial Awareness technology.

The original design concept was developed with MIRA the UK Motor Industry Research Association to provide positional data and accept inputs from other sensors and devices.

IRIS has further developed this capability to provide the stolen vehicle tracking and vehicle asset management industry with the most flexible and cost effect solution available.

Fully integrated telematics unit incorporating voice and encrypted data communications:

Class leading low power consumption of 14µA whilst monitoring for motion or timer functions.
Locate on demand option, the unit may be woken even when in sleep mode to obtain position or download data.
Optimised for non-powered asset solutions, the IRIS AT provides 24/7 monitoring for up to 2 years from a single battery charge.
Optional Ephemeris assisted GPS positioning provides virtually instantaneous position on wake up.
RF Key activates the IRIS AT on key press or provides Automatic Driver Recognition for vehicle tracking applications.
IRIS spatial awareness technology allows the unit to monitor and report on its position relative to pre-programmed routes or locations.
Powerful embedded processing routines offer the option of on-board data processing thereby reducing the cost of data downloads.
Full self-diagnostics check to establish the ability of the unit to perform its full range of design functionality and that internal battery is serviceable.
